Singing in the rain

Today Caden said to Ava “Let’s go play outside” She agreed and got dressed while he  finished his lunch. I suggested we walk around the block and Kori asked to wait until she was done with the last 5 math problems. Because of the chain of events, we missed our opportunity to play outside.

Well, we missed our chance to play outside without getting rained on. img_3475

It started out as just Ava going outside making a fort out of umbrellas.

 

This first caught the eye of her brother and eventually her older sister also came out and played as well.

Sometimes a chain of events can rearrange our day but if we choose to look at the good things that can happen, we might just find that the change was not so bad after all.

I believe food and relationships are so vital to healing our bodies.
